Sometimes it can be hard for to maintain a daily exercise regimen, but here are a few quick tips to help you stick with it.

1) Set a daily alarm or daily reminder on your phone to encourage you to exercise, make it encouraging and positive. Remember, this is something you want to do!

2) Set the reminder for a time when you usually don't have anything pressing to do. Such as after you come home from work or right when you wake up or go to bed.

3) Remember, you can split your daily exercise to two 15 minute sessions. IT can sometimes be easier to find 15 minutes than it to find 30, so perhaps set two alarms during the day.

If you choose running or walking as your exercise make sure that you wear shoes that are comfortable and fit you properly. Shoes that don't fit properly can, at best, leave you with painful blisters by the time you're done walking or running. At worst they can trip you up and cause you to twist your ankle.

When you are working out, keep your weight training time to under sixty minutes. After an hour of weight training, your body will start to produce more cortisol, which is the stress hormone that can block the testosterone needed to build muscles. This will waste the muscles instead of build them.

To get great looking abs, only do abdominal muscles 3 days a week. While working your abs daily may seem like the right thing to do, your abs actually need time to recuperate in between workouts. Taking a break and working on another part of your body will give your muscles the rest they need to get toned.

To improve your endurance, start small. After warming up, try sprinting for thirty seconds. After this, slow down your pace to a quick, but comfortable, walking speed for about three minutes, and then sprint for another thirty seconds, continuing to follow this pattern for about 30 minutes. When this becomes easy, lengthen the time you sprint and shorten the time you walk. If you start too hard, it will only set you up for failure; therefore, it is important to take steps to improve your stamina by exercising in these time intervals.

Choose the best time to exercise. While most people like to get exercise out of the way in the morning, sometimes it's better to wait. Lung function peaks in most people between 4pm and 5pm, so this may be better for you. Interestingly, midday is the time when exercise returns the lowest lung function. That being said, you should exercise at a time that suits you - your body will indicate that to you.

Being proactive in your effort to staying fit is the key to success in maintaining wellness. Try to change up your routine, so you don't get burned out but don't skip too many days of not working out. If you skip more than a day, the chances are harder for you to get back into the grove of working out.
